XMAS SUMMER - Catalogue

I discovered this dishware set a few months ago, while browsing Pinterest. I fell in love and went on a hunt for both the plates themselves and information about the collection.

These items were created as part of a collab between India Mahdavi and Monoprix in 2017.

The collection was first shown to the press before being released in stores around November 22, 2017.

The only problem is, it flew off the shelves : Some angry facebook comments imply that some stores mistakenly put the items on the shelves one or two days earlier, which was enough time to have the collection be sold out in some stores before release day.

While that might sound suprising for ... dishware, of all things, it's not out of the ordinary when you know a bit about India Mahdavi. She's a huge name in interior design, the kind of person whose brand sells 3000€ stools. So when the queen blesses the common people with an affordable dishware set, her loyal subjects are not long in coming.

On this page I'm showing a list of the dishware items from the collection, with the best pictures I could find, alongside the original retail prices.

This list is purposefully missing items idgaf about (bowls, saucers, cups, mugs, and the non-dishware stuff). Someday I might fill the rest in.
